About Us: Sunshine Senior Services is a leading insurance agency founded in 2016 by Rob Anderson, along with twin brothers Jarrod and Jeremy Frost. Our founders, previously captive agents in a corporate insurance environment, launched the agency to provide a broader range of options. We offer Medicare Advantage and Supplement products, ACA Health Marketplace insurance, hospital indemnity, and life insurance products from all major carriers. Our corporate office is located in St. Louis, Missouri, and our new call center operates out of Florida, servicing clients of regional health centers nationwide.


** This role requires a valid insurance license only. Training will be provided for successful candidates.


A description of the job is as follows and will include but not be limited to the following:

- Handle inbound calls from potential and existing customers inquiring about insurance products.

- Provide accurate and detailed information on insurance plans, benefits, and coverage options, while staying in compliance, helping customers make informed decisions.

- Assess customer needs and requirements to recommend suitable insurance products.

- Process customer applications for insurance, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

- Maintain customer records accurately in the CRM system, updating details, notes, and tasks daily.

- Achieve sales targets by effectively converting leads into clients through high-quality customer service and expert advice.

- Handle customer complaints and queries promptly, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.

- Attend training to better skills and maintain knowledge of the various insurance plans and products.

Job requirements

  • Must possess a current license as an insurance agent.
  • Proven experience in insurance sales, with a strong understanding of insurance products, especially those targeted at senior demographics.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport with senior customers and their families.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently and with accuracy.
  • This position offers a base salary initially, with additional commission and bonuses based on sales performance.
